Landmark Capital has added a vice president to bolster its relationships with institutional capital. The Newport Beach, Calif., advisory firm hired John Meek this month as a vice president, tasked with lining up equity and debt for clients. He’ll work with president and managing director David Kidder. Meek came from Champion Real Estate of Los Angeles, where he focused on retail acquisitions. He had previous stints at Bilak & Kramer Capital of Newport Beach, Calif., and Credit Suisse. The hiring follows last month’s addition of Jack Hsu as a director of capital relationships. Meek focuses on expanding Landmark’s access to intentional and domestic family offices.
