Landmark Capital: Moderator at Crittenden National Conference in April, 2016

Landmark Capital Advisors, a member company of Land Advisors Organization, announced today that Tom Farrell, Director of Business Development, will be moderating a panel at the Crittenden National Real Estate Conference held on April 17-19, 2016 in San Diego, California. The panel’s discussion, titled “The Blurred Lines of the Capital Stack: equity seeking protection, debt chasing higher yield,” will take place on April 18, 2016 at 10:45am. Mr. Farrell will moderate 3 panelists with debt, equity and mezzanine backgrounds along with a multi-faceted operator/developer. The panel will discuss the current capital markets environment in regards to project financing, as well as what they are seeing from equity and debt providers, both from a structure and pricing perspective. Mr. Farrell has been a prior panelist and moderator at Crittenden National Real Estate Conferences as well as PCBC, IBS, BIA, IMN and ULI.

Mr. Farrell is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of real estate finance experience across most geographies and layers of the capital stack. At Landmark Capital Advisors, he is responsible for raising debt and equity for residential and commercial developers throughout the U.S. Prior to Landmark, Tom was with Sabal Financial Group where he was the Director of Home Builder Finance, providing non-recourse A&D and construction loans to homebuilders nationally. This was a start-up group, which successfully took advantage of the gap created when commercial banks largely deserted the space during the housing downturn. Prior to Sabal, Tom was at Bank of America for 25 years in a number of positions of increasing responsibility in the Commercial Real Estate Bank. His last position at Bank of America was Division Executive in charge of the Home Builder Division, which was the largest provider of financing to homebuilders nationally with over $13 billion in commitments. Mr. Farrell earned his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and his MBA from Pepperdine University. He is a member of ULI, NAHB, CBIA, HomeAid America (Chairman), and the Cornell University Real Estate Council.
